Red Nose Day 2013 idents
Idents I made for Red Nose Day.
About
I was tasked to come up with the motion for the idents between presenters/sketches based on the lovely designs by Sharon Lock. The ball had to play a part in tying them together. I also animated the floor lights where the presenters walked all in After Effects.

A title sequence for the Lifetime network show 'Livin' Large'.
About
Titles for TwoFour America for a fly-on-the-wall network show. We had to come up with the concept art and style in advance of the motion with quite little direction. We landed here and were happy with the result. Concept art in Illustrator, animation and comping in After Effects.

A short title sequence I made for the show 'Danny and Mick' on CBBC and Tiger Aspect.
About
This was a really fast turnaround job (premise to render was 2 days). The show was originally called 'Danny!!!' but was later changed to 'Danny and Mick'. I amended accordingly before broadcast. Made in Photoshop and After Effects.

Chris Scarffe ident
An ident I made for filmmaker and wildlife documentarian Chris Scarffe.
About
Chris provided me with some footage plus his logo and said he wanted something similar to the Marvel ident, but slower, more mature and calmer showcasing some of his wildlife content. Designed and animated in After Effects.

These are a series of mini-stings I made for the lovely guys at Beagle Media.

These were stings for a web broadcast production (all of which prelude interviews about the era.) I was only provided with low-res imagery of some key newspaper headlines which I had to recreate and animate in a way that got the relevant details across whilst staying consistent (and within budget). 1970's animation provided by Luke Robinson. Designed in Photoshop, animated in After Effects.

Simple Parallax Examples
Some 2.5D parallax examples.
About
I get a lot of emails asking things like "can you make this 2D image look 3D?" which is something I do a lot, whether it's using 3D layers in AE or faking it using scaled nulls with varying complexity. I thought it would be sensible to cobble together a little montage of some of the most simple ones I've done. There's tons more but these were the ones I could find with a quick browse. Images are provided as stills, broken up and repainted in Photoshop then animated in AE.

I've made so many idents over the years, too many to count! There's loads I can't find, loads I'm not allowed to use, loads that are stored elsewhere... but here's a stack of some I quite like that I found in storage.
Some are super simple micro-idents, some are for broadcast, some are for small businesses etc. I enjoy making them! All made in AE.
